A fix has been released enabling users to log into the CM/CMS via the invitation link or the password reset page.
Today, a scheduled code upgrade release was deployed on Appspotr with the objective of updating core backend libraries and optimising the existing codebase. These improvements are designed to enhance overall system performance, stability, and efficiency across the platform.
As part of this release, several underlying dependencies were upgraded to their latest supported versions, ensuring better compatibility, improved functionality, and strengthened security. Additionally, targeted code optimizations were implemented to streamline backend processes and reduce system overhead, contributing to a more responsive and reliable platform experience.
This release is part of Appspotr’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a modern, secure, and high-performance infrastructure. By continuously updating libraries and refining the platform’s codebase, Appspotr ensures that its services operate on the most current, secure, and optimised technology stack available.
Improved
The iOS app builder in Appspotr now builds apps with the iOS 26 SDK. This is applicable to only apps that are in platform version 23 that are built on or after 5th February, 2026.
App builders should give a little more attention to how toggle and slider handles look in their low code apps when built with SDK 26 as there is a slight change that may require minor adjustments in low code apps to display the handle without it being cut off.

The latest iteration of our platform, Version 22, is now available. This release includes the latest technical updates for Appspotr apps. This includes addressing the Google Play Store requirement on the Android API level and improvements to OAuth Logic.
New
  • App builders can now pass a dataset item id from the add to dataset logic block. This will allow app builders to create logic flows based on the context of the newly created line item. For example, when a user creates a post or news item from a mobile or PWA app, logic can now be built to immediately trigger a push notification that deep-links to that new post or news item. Previously, this was only supported in the Appspotr CMS and the Content Manager application.
Improved
  • Significant code updates have been made to enhance security and performance. These updates ensure that apps in version 22 will be compatible with the latest Android devices by utilising the Android API Level 35 endpoint. API Level 35 is required for publishing new apps to the Google Play Store.
  • Deprecated the Auth0 logic blocks from version 22. The OAuth logic blocks can easily support all the use cases for which Auth0 is used. OAuth is also easier to use when configuring for multiple platforms such as Android, iOS and PWA. While apps using Auth0 in v21 will still retain the existing block when upgrading to v22, it is recommended to switch to OAuth logic in Appspotr v22. From Appspotr v23, the Auth0 logic blocks will be completely removed.
Fixed
  • Resolved issues seen with the OAuth logic block so that it works as expected in all scenarios for Android, iOS and PWA apps.
  • The navigation issue seen when the entry patch is a main menu and a view is connected to a context menu has been fixed in v22 apps.
  • Fixed the border cut off issue in some views on selected devices.
-
Fixed
Resolved the issue where deep-linked push notification logic was being validated against CMS user permissions instead of app user permissions.
Fixed
  • Fixed default value for map coordinates when not set. This change also fixes the default value for older datasets that had the 0,0 coordinates default value.
